Description

This study estimates the change in flooding potential along the California coast over the twenty first century, of significant societal concern because extensive development along the California coast and enclosed bays has increased the area vulnerable to storm‐forced coastal flooding. The study focused on three regions of the California coast that have maintained long duration tide gauge records and that have both sea level and wave variability typical of their respective  associated regions.
