Description

In the wake of the 2017 wildfires that destroyed 5,300 homes, the City of Santa Rosa and County of Sonoma have partnered to rebuild burned homes and accelerate new housing development to address a long-standing shortage with heightened attention to adaptation and resilience.  They have formed a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) known as the Renewal Enterprise District (RED) to create a trusted, replicable, and enduring model of community development.
