Description

In 2013 the U.S. Navy and the Port of San Diego collaborated and wrote a major update to the 2002 Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP). This new plan articulates the Navy and the Port’s long-term vision and strategy for stewardship of natural resources. It specifically addressed issues of implementation that prior report faced. It also articulated nine specific target actions to help the region move forward. Additionally, the report included new understanding of climate change impacts on natural systems.
