Description

This report is an assessment of Marin County’s bayside shoreline vulnerability to future sea-level rise and associated impacts, which include inundation, erosion and flooding. It explores these impacts as they relate local assets, such as beaches, parcels, critical infrastructure, transportation, and equity. The report uses an exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity framework to identify vulnerabilities as well as an analysis of potential impacts and onset to determine local risks. The Vulnerability Assessment was conducted as part of the Marin Bay Waterfront Adaptation Vulnerability Evaluation (BayWAVE) initiative.
