Description

The primary goal of the Colma Creek Flood Control Zone Channel Improvement Project is to alleviate increased flooding hazards due to sea level rise for adjacent lands and structures, including commercial and industrial properties, at the downstream end of Colma Creek. The project involves construction of 1.5 acres of salt marsh wetlands and 2.0 acres of native upland habitat. This project is located along the mouth of Colma Creek where it enters San Francisco Bay, below Utah Avenue.
