Description

This report is part of the Urban Resilience Project, a joint effort be the Kresge Foundation and Island Press aimed at promoting equitable resilience to climate change impacts in American cities. The report seeks to capture and summarize the information the Project gleaned over a mutli-year effort surveying existing literature on climate resilience and connecting with a diverse group of organizers, researchers, planners, and other urban change agents through in-depth interviews and town halls. Their findings offer helpful information related to governance, education, collaboration, and current gaps that can help cities effectively build resilience.
