This Guidebook provides guidelines to develop socially equitable granting programs by infusing equity into: organizational goals, visions, and values; Community engagement and technical assistance; advisory committees; application and review processes; and implementation, measurement and analysis. It also highlights examples of current state programs and legislative policies that successfully infuse equity in their guidelines. This guidebook may be used when building or advising on new granting programs and legislative policies, and assessing and improving current grant programs and legislative policies.
