Description

The vulerability assessment describes, evaluates, and quantifies the vulnerabilities of Department of Water Resources (DWR) assets and business to potential climate change impacts. This assessment is intended to provide the first evaluation of its kind for facilities owned and operated by DWR, and provide the foundation for the development of an Adaptation Plan to help plan DWR's resiliency efforts. It specifically examines DWR's vulnerabilities to wildfires, extreme heat, and sea level rise, as well as changes in hydrology and ecosystems.
