Description

This academic study, used as supporting research for California's Fourth Climate Change Assessment, examines local air quality management in the state. The authors surveyed local air quality district managers representing over 80 percent of the state's population and analyzed their responses to more thoroughly understand the gap in climate adaptation in the air quality sector. They further used these local manager perspectives to consider beneficial multi-jurisdictional approaches for reducing the negative impacts of air quality.
