Description

On July 28, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom released this final version of the Water Resilience Portfolio, the Administration’s blueprint for equipping California to cope with more extreme droughts and floods, rising temperatures, declining fish populations, over-reliance on groundwater and other challenges. Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-10-19 in April 2019 directing state agencies to develop recommendations to meet these challenges and enable water security for all Californians. To that end, state agencies have developed this water resilience portfolio to improve California’s capacity to prepare for disruptions, withstand and recover from climate-related shocks, and adapt into the future.
