Description

This website is the home of the "Game of Floods" project, which was developed by the County of Marin. The game is designed as a public education activity on sea level rise adaptation and introduces participants to different adaptation strategies and their associated tradeoffs. The game includes strategies such as traditional flood protection measures (i.e. levees and seawalls), green infrastructure approaches and policy/zoning changes. The county uses the game at public workshops, high schools, and community group meetings. The website provides further details on the game and allows anyone to download and utilize this award winning resource.
