Description

Marin County's Sea Level Rise Adaptation report presents near-, medium-, and long-term options for increasing resiliency in the face of increased sea-level rise and coastal storms following their Vulnerability Assessment. Their adaptation planning aims to protect human life, health and property, ensure the safety of development, maintain public access, and protect beaches, wetlands, and other natural resources. This report is a collaboration between the County's Collaboration: Sea-level Marin Adaptation Response Team” (C-SMART), a multi-stakeholder, inter-governmental partnership with representatives from each West Marin community, and the Marin County Development Agency.
