Description

This report from the USDA CA Climate Hub is a menu of tangible, but flexible, options for land managers who want to integrate climate change considerations into their management and conservation activities. The menu features a nested set of management strategies, associated approaches, and examples of specific tactics. It reflects the context of California’s forests and is informed by a synthesis of California forest adaptation literature. The menu is designed to be used with the Adaptation Workbook, which provides a flexible process for natural resource professionals to incorporate potential effects of climate change on forests into their planning, decision-making, and implementation.
