Description

The City of San Diego Climate Action Plan includes chapters on adaptation and social equity. The CAP outlines potential climate impacts to San Diego such as temperature, wildfire, extreme storms, sea level rise, and public health and creates a framework approach to begin the development of a stand alone climate adaptation plan that will integrate and build upon the strategies and measures in the CAP. The chapter also discusses future adaptation efforts such as expanding urban forests and protecting open spaces.
