Description

This framework is intended to help individual communities advance their goals for economic development, public health, air quality, climate resiliency, equity, and job creation while planning for the impacts of climate change. The Gateway Cities Adaptation Toolkit provides cities with baseline information on climate hazards and adaptation measures to help prepare them for the potential impacts of climate change. The Adaptation Toolkit is designed to help cities integrate climate change adaptation into their Climate Action Plan, General Plan, and/or Local Hazard Mitigation Plans, and meet the requirement of State legislation (i.e., SB 379).
